looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Leader for the
Gulf Central Territory to join our team. In this pivotal role, you
will drive business growth by managing independent rep agencies and
advancing specification sales. As the Regional Leader of Plumbing &
Mechanical Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing sales
performance, cost management, and regional growth, while developing
and executing strategies to expand our market presence. This
position involves converting specifications from architects,
engineers, and contractors to the Zurn Elkay product portfolio, as
well as identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities
with both new and existing customers. Reporting directly to the SVP
of Sales and Marketing, this role requires proximity to a major
airport.This sales leader will travel up to 50%, and must be
located within our Gulf Central USA region (TX, NM, CO, KS, OK, MO,
AR, LA). There is a strong preference for this individual to be
based in either the Dallas or Houston markets.Key
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth across a
multi-state region, working closely with multiple independent rep
agents.
- Take full responsibility for the region's top-line sales, price
realization, and SG&A budget, while creating and executing
countermeasures to address any shortfalls against Zurn Elkay's
deployment goals.
- Execute strategies to drive specifications for both new and
existing products, engaging with key stakeholders such as
engineers, owners, regulators, contractors, and architects.
- Lead campaigns to promote Zurn Elkay products with engineers,
owners, municipal regulators, and architects.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of regional sales managers and
business development managers to achieve territory growth
objectives.
- Align cross functionally with all product groups and other
internal sales functions to represent one Zurn Elkay.
- Manage and optimize the performance of the Zurn Elkay Third
Party Representative Firm network across all regions, establishing
sales, pricing, growth, and accountability goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders,
including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency,
always striving for smarter, more effective ways of working.
- Provide qualitative intelligence on market trends, competitive
activity, and input for multi-generational product plans based on
VOC and competitor offerings.Qualifications:
Experience:
- 10 years of regional, national or territory sales experience
with at 7+ years sales leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree is required, MBA is a plus, preferably in
Marketing, Business Management, or Engineering
- Experience managing and driving growth through Independent
Representatives in commercial and industrial plumbing & mechanical

Needed:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Technical acumen, with ability to understand technical
drawings
- Proficient in developing and delivering presentations to
Engineers, Owners, Regulators, Architects, Contractors,
Wholesalers, Distributors
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint,
Excel, and Outlook).
- Familiarity with DCRM, or Sales Force, or similar sales CRM
