Knowledge of ophthalmology/optometry keywords and scribing is a must. Our Ophthalmic Scribes work closely with our Ophthalmologists to provide real-time charting of physician and patient encounters during the exam. Our superstars are personable and multitask as they are responsible for a variety of clerical tasks that include retrieving medical records, documenting the results of diagnostic tests, and preparing discharge instructions while maintaining the flow of the clinic.
