Accounting SAP ERP Consultant/Analyst 12+ month contactPlano, TX (Hybrid)Responsibilities:ERP Transition Recently transitioned its ERP to SAP from PeopleSoft. SAP modules for General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables have been implemented. This transition continues and there are projects to migrate all remaining Peoplesoft based interfaces to SAP.ERP Functionality Expansion Projects to Implement New modules in SAP such as MDG, In-House Cash, etc.ERP Enterprise Support Business is growing, and new businesses are being added. There are projects to build interfaces between source systems and SAP for these growth initiatives. In addition, legacy systems are being retired and replaced with updated, modern systems. There are projects to support transitioning away from legacy systems.Testing: Come up with the test plans, thinking like a business user. Some are automated but they do a lot of manual testing, functional testing, system integration testing: not a technical testing but similar to UAT testingWorking with the business plan, Scrum calls, daily factory calls, update user storiesThis resource will act as a Functional Accounting Consultant for the Accounting Team for ERP Projects and will work closely with our Senior Managers and Managers (Project Leaders) to develop accounting requirements, design, and assist with system builds, testing, and deliverables implementation for various ERP related projects. This individual will need to be strategic and forward thinking and understand the implications/impacts of an SAP Implementation on the Accounting Group and front-end dealer and customer servicing groups.This role is focused on GL Accounting, AP/AR processing and Financial Reporting experience (more of a true accounting role).
