How You'll Serve Our Patients
The TMS technician will provide patient care utilizing a breakthrough treatment modality for treating depression, Transcranial Magnetic stimulation, or TMS therapy. This person will provide TMS under the supervision of the medical team and clinic manager.
You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:

• Operate and deliver TMS treatments, under the supervision of a physician, according to specific protocols
• Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and accuracy
• Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Monitor patient during treatment for abnormal reactions
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to clinic manager
• Coach patient during treatments for abnormal reactions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patients' comfort, coil contact, and TMS set up through treatment under the direction of physicians standing order
• Record encounters, track insurance authorizations, and schedule patient visits using EMR and medical scheduling software
  Must haves
  
  • High School Diploma or Associate's degree
    Bonus Qualities
    
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 1 year experience in patient care in a mental health setting
    • Experience and understanding of prior authorization processes
    • Experience in working with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
