Republic Finance is seeking an experienced Senior Application Production Support Analyst to join our IT team! At Republic Finance, we are building a leading consumer lending company. Successful applicants will have a broad technical base coupled with strong analytical and problem solving skills and can communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the business. The ideal candidate additionally places heavy emphasis on safety, best methodologies, and due diligence. This position can be based in our Baton Rouge, LA or Plano, TX offices, and has the option of being hybrid/remote. Job responsibilities are as follows:Perform application problem solving and leverage appropriate tools and resources to drive remediationIdentify deficiencies within existing products and lead solutioning effortsCoordinate with other technical teams to ensure consistent delivery, monitoring, and support of internal deliverablesFind opportunities to drive efficiency gains through updates to products and procedures and then spearhead those effortsMaintain clear and open lines of communication with appropriate internal customers as necessary

Requirements:
5+ years of combined experience in development, application, or technology support roles in the financial sector5+ years of experience in administrating and maintaining Windows ServersFluent in a modern programming language such as Java, C#, Python, Etc.Proficient in a modern scripting language like Ruby, Bash, Perl, Etc.Ability to read and write applicable SQL codeUnderstands the concepts and principals behind ALM and SDLCEffective verbal and written communicatorWorks equally well both within and outside of a team dynamicDisciplined self-starter capable of balancing competing priorities while maintaining high levels of due diligence, diplomacy, and qualityDemonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective customer and peer relationshipsExperience with DevOps practices with an emphasis on testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment preparationAbility to parlay application knowledge into appropriate recommendations for performance monitoringAble to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where creative and critical thinking is requiredExperience with documenting business and IT processesAble to conceptually reverse-engineer existing solutions to understand architecture and logicAbility to successfully apply existing technical and process knowledge to new scenariosWorking knowledge of web server administration, monitoring, and maintenanceFundamental understanding of core networking technologies, protocols, and tools (ICMP, Telnet, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, subnetting, gateways, etc.)Understands security best practices and ensures high-level compliance
