Job Description:
Description:Key Responsibilities--- Performs all steps necessary
to maintain correct chemical balance or material mixture needed to
support proper equipment operation, product quality, or other
chemical needs.--- Conducts chemical process tests, taking and
measuring samples at specified intervals and stages.--- Manages,
mixes, and stores all compounds and chemicals in a safe and
efficient manner.--- Safely maintains and stores all relevant
tools, instruments, measuring devices, and equipment to ensure
proper function.--- Trains line operators on specific guidelines,
procedures and safety precautions that must be adhered to.---
Adheres to applicable EPA regulations for proper labeling and
disposal of chemical compounds and waste.--- Maintains all records
related to processes and chemicals used including safety data
sheets (SDS) and equipment operation logs.--- Works with external
labs for routine chemical analysis, prepares samples, labeling,
packaging and shipping, reviewing, logging and responding to
results as necessary.--- Identifies and reports problems and/or
accidents to supervising Chemical Engineer.--- Performs minor
repairs and other related duties as assigned.Top Skills
