Today!Job Summary and QualificationsSupervises all areas of the
Imaging Department (XRAY, C-Arm, Portable, Surgery), follows
physician orders, performs quality procedures, practices quality
patient care, customer service, maintains competencies,
participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and
documentations, practices radiation safety, coordinates imaging
students, department involvement, coordinate workflow of procedures
with radiologist, performs other duties as assigned. Flexibility
required with erratic census and unexpected needs of the
department. Must work successfully within structure of team
concept. What you will do in this role
- You will supervise imaging technologists and support techs
- You will have 24/7 responsibilities for function, staffing and
image quality of XRAY, C-Arm and Portable scans completed.
- You will manage fiscal responsibilities related to staff,
supplies, staffing and equipment.
- You will provide leadership and vision to obtain department
goals.
- You will support the mission, vision and values of the
organization.
- You will need Initiative and judgment required in assuming
responsibilities.
- You will need to demonstrate flexibility in response to
unexpected needs of the department.
- You will need knowledge of Joint Commission and state
requirements.
What qualifications you will need:
- State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- Certificate
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained
within 30 days of employment start dateThis role requires you to be
fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal
law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is
