Job Description:
The Acquisitions Analyst reports to the Vice President of
Acquisitions an Corporate Finance and is responsible for assisting
the development department and legal department in connection with
internal reporting Board reporting all transitions and life cycle
of all legal documents. Exempt associates are expected to work as
much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job
responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Hospitality
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and
Outlook
- Ability to learn and adapt to fast pace ever-changing
environments
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
projects
- Flexibility to work after normal business hours.
- Must have strong time management skills -
- Must be able to work well in stressful high-pressure situations
including ability to handle shifting of priorities as the need
arises
- Must be able to show initiative in job performance including
anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a
necessity
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace
including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems
as necessary
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data
etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet
the constraints of the needs
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information
and data and basic arithmetic functions
- Prior experience in hospitality real estate and/or financial
analysis a plus
- Prior experience using Salesforce a plusJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides detailed analytical support for various corporate
functions and departments
- Contributes to key financial reports for senior management
- Performs ad hoc analyses as to support functions in corporate
finance and business development
- Drives standardization simplification and automation of
Business Development procedures
- Develops and maintain working relationships while interacting
with all levels of management
- Updates and keeps current all Business Development reports /
Sales Force
- Researches and responds to information requests from internal
departments and management
- Track and distribute weekly transition relink and disposition
lists
- Draft and submit brand objection letters for new construction
notices
- Review hotel management agreements for proposed changes to
competitive sets and facilitate approval and compliance
- Confirm track and review potential area of protection clauses
in current hotel management agreements
- Calculate and track termination fees and performance standards
when applicable
- Provide numerical and contractual analysis of contracts and
data
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support to department heads for
transactions acquisitions budgeting and forecasting
- Review and track pre-opening dates and related fee income
- Assist with coordination and accuracy of certain forms
schedules and lists related to development and legalAimbridge
