Job Description:
Job Summary The Regional Construction Operations Manager --- TFS
reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for supporting
and assisting the Regional Manager in providing leadership and
oversight of the day to day operations within the Region. Will work
with the Regional Manager and TFS Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
to establish and maintain business objectives, set expectations and
objectives for both short and long term operational plans and
identify potential problems and points of friction and works to
find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and profits within
the Region. Will be a member of the TFS Senior Management Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities ---Responsible to assist
Regional Manager for the overall operation of the Region. ---Serves
as a leader to his/her team. Responsible for growing the business,
providing customer satisfaction and is committed to the success of
the business. ---Ensure Company safety policies and SSSPs are
proactively communicated and consistently enforced on all projects.
---Contributes to the development and implementation of policies
and procedures ---Supports and promotes the company---s
transformation by facilitating Lean adoption ---Works
collaboratively to continuously improve elimination of waste,
enhance safety, and add value to the company and projects
---Supports the Estimating department, participates in reviewing
estimates for projects within the Region ---Informs the Regional
Manager - TFS of a project---s overall status, with particular
regard to cost, schedule, quality, safety and client relationship
---Ensures all applicable procedures and tools are followed and
used on the projects ---Provides oversight of projects including
daily activities, staffing, finance and reporting functions as well
as coordination with administrative functions at main office.
Ensures that an earned value system is implemented in all major
projects ---Develops and maintains continuous positive
relationships with the Client and their representatives ---Promotes
positive Staff morale and resolves potential morale conflicts
---Assists the Regional Manager with Business Development
activities as required and in coordination with Marketing/Business
Development Department. ---Other duties as assigned Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities ---Strong interpersonal and communication
skills ---Exceptional organization and coordination skills
---Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power
Point, Outlook, etc.) Minimum Requirements ---High School Diploma
or GED required ---Bachelor---s degree preferred ---5 years with a
Bachelor---s degree ---10 years without a degree
