Job Description:
COMPENSATION$150,000 - $175,000.00, Based on Experience + Annual
BonusSUMMARYAs a key member of the organization, the Controller
will report and serve as a partner to the VP of Finance. The
Controller will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring
accurate and timely delivery of all aspects of the Company's
financial and payroll operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be
assigned, as necessary.
- Performs monthly financial statement review and analysis on the
company's operating results. Performs additional ad hoc analyses,
as necessary.
- Provides management with accurate and timely information
necessary to make strategic and operating decisions.
- Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of general
accounting and accounts payable teams.
- Responsible for all monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
including the timely reporting of results to the Board of
Directors.
- Drives the evaluation and implementation of value-added
business systems and processes.
- Responsible for engagement and development of the general
accounting and accounts payable teams, including, but not limited
to, employee training, assignment of clear objectives, and regular
performance reviews.
- Implements adequate internal controls and processes to ensure
the accuracy of financial information in compliance with
Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Drives operational process improvements both within and outside
of accounting and finance functions.
- Researches technical accounting matters, ensure compliance with
industry specific regulatory requirements and recommend changes, as
necessary.
- Seeks opportunities for professional growth, leadership
development and increased professional capability.
- Oversees preparation for and execution of external audits.
- Aids in the preparation and filing of all required tax returns
with GHCO Tax department and external vendors.
- Helps coordinate the efforts of quarterly SOX testing with
internal audit teams.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.QUALIFICATION

evidence of past performanceEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting and/or finance
required
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible accounting
experience
- CPA or MBA required
- Experience in healthcare services, home health, or specialty
pharmacy
- Strong operational experience, ideally with financial
sponsor-backed companies
- Experience identifying, developing, and implementing accounting
controls and operational KPI'sCERTIFICATES, LICENSES,
REGISTRATIONSMust have and maintain in good standing professional
license, certificate, or registration, as applicable.PHYSICAL
