Defect Coordinator - Insurance to join our team in Plano, Texas
(US-TX), United States (US).NTT Data Services is Hiring!This is a
permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to
C2C or C2H.The position is fully Remote/Work from Home and may be
based anywhere in the continental United StatesDefect
CoordinatorJob Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Assist the defect Manager in managing defects across POD and
timely defect closures within SLA requirements
- Prepares for and works with project managers across projects &
PODs to ensure that defect management best practices are set and
followed
- Assists in preparation for various matrix and Data for
Management Reviews weekly
- Involvement in quality Improvements Log, reviewing quality
health across projects
- Initiate defect triage meetings where required and lead it from
the front
- Works with cross functional groups to identify root causes and
bring this data for analysis to determine the corrective
actions
- Interacts with customers and represents Quality in any
customer-related audits as necessary. Coordinates and ensures that
customer-related requirements are addressed and maintained
- Manages the UAT defects and help log that in ALM on behalf of
UAT users
- May be required to perform quality testing with QA personnel at
times
- Be responsible for identifying aging and Critical bugs and
communicating their business impact to facilitate decision-making
by Project ManagementBasic, Required Qualifications:
Minimum sevenyears of relevant
experience in a QA role, specifically as Defect Coordinator in an
established organizationBachelor's DegreeMinimum three years of
experience with ALM and/or HP-QCMinimum two years of experience in
QA reporting (Excel Pivot, Graph, Formulas, Charts)Other Desired
Qualifications:
- Well versed with JIRA andend-to-end test management and defect
management
- Thorough knowledge of defect management and Test
methodologies
- Experience within the Insurance industry (Life & Annuities of
Health Insurance) is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task various projects at the same time and
remain poised and calm under pressure
- Effectively communicate issues with stakeholders and propose
solutions
- Strong logical thinking, willing to explore, taking the
ownership, great team playerWhere required by law, NTT DATA
provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The
starting pay range for this remote role is $61,800 - $128,900. This
range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the
position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend
on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work
location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other
qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive
compensation based on individual and/or company performance.This
