Who We're Looking For Toyotas Cyber Protection Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer II, Cyber Protection. The person selected for this position will be a key member of a high-functioning cyber defense team. They will participate in all aspects of cyber incident detection and cyber threat detection engineering. This will include regularly interacting with other IT and cyber security professionals. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Cyber Protection, the person in this role will support the Cyber Protection department's objective to deploy and maintain enterprise-wide security solutions. What You'll Be Doing Toyota Motor North America has embarked on an important mission to become the leader in cybersecurity for global mobility. We are making significant investments to enhance our capabilities through resource levels, talent development, process maturity, and technology enablement. As such, we are looking for talented and passionate cybersecurity professionals who can help make our cybersecurity team world-class.

• Assist with optimization of incident detection processes (cyber security monitoring, alert investigation and triage, incident handling)
• Assist with optimization of threat detection processes (cyber security alert development, testing, hand-off for monitoring)
• Research logging and alerting capabilities of TMNAs existing and future cyber security tools.
• Work with Cyber Security tool owners to identify opportunities to add or improve alerting. What You Bring
  • A bachelors degree in cyber security/related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • A basic understanding of computer systems and networking
  • Experience with Cyber Threat hunting and Incidence Response
  • Familiarity with monitoring. logging incidences and researching.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to management. Added bonus if you have
