Responsibilities:

Must Have Strong Java Development Skill Set

---Unit test frameworks, e.g. Junit or Mockito

---Must Have Experience working in Hortonworks environment (Spark) and Big Data databases ( Hbase / Hive)

---Experience with Git, MAVEN, Jira and familiarity with the SDLC/Agile

---Well Grounded in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns

---Knowledge of JMS and MOM desirable. MQ Series a plus.

---Working Knowledge of XML parsers, Mainframe Format Parsers.

---Comfortable working with Eclipse IDE or IntelliJ IDEA.

---Working knowledge in UNIX Solaris/Linux and Shell Scripting

---Hands on experience with J2EE(JDBC, JNDI, JMS), Tomcat a plus

---Hands on knowledge of REST web services

---Experience working with micro services architecture.

Desired

---Working knowledge in Python levergaging Pandas and Webframeworks.

---Databases: PL SQL, ANSI SQL or Transact-SQL, SQL queries. Oracle is a plus

---Experience in building an application using Spring Boot
