Job Title: Credentialing and Recredentialing
CoordinatorDepartment: Medical StaffingReports to: Director of
OperationsPosition Summary:The Credentialing and Recredentialing
Coordinator is responsible for verifying and maintaining the
credentials of healthcare providers in our medical staffing agency.
This includes collecting and reviewing documents, conducting
background checks, coordinating with clients and providers to
ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and assisting with the
onboarding of new providers. The Credentialing and Recredentialing
Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety
of our staffing services.Responsibilities:Verify the credentials of
healthcare providers, including education, licensure,
certification, and experience Conduct background checks and verify
references Coordinate with clients to ensure that credentialing
requirements are met Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of
provider credentials in our database Communicate with providers and
clients to resolve any credentialing issues Monitor regulatory
updates and changes to credentialing requirements Assist with the
onboarding of new providers Qualifications:A degree in healthcare
administration, nursing, or a related field preferred 2+ years of
experience in credentialing or a related role preferred Knowledge
of healthcare regulatory standards and requirements Strong
attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
independently and manage multiple tasks Proficiency in Microsoft
