Job#: Job Description:Overview of the role:Operations Team- Monitors go off when things start breaking, support internal and external client customers.They get requests from customers- challenge they are facing they get so many triggers of monitors- emails (false positive alerts). They have an overload of informationDeal with environment, tune some monitors, process improvementsThey have defined SLA's for the future- streamline way to measure how much time they want to put to an SLAs'- know how to "download the results of the time they are spending on tickets"Reduce false positive alerts for cloud infrastructure monitorsIt would be considered a plus if you are able to build and own Ops development pipelines using Gitlab, Terraform, EKS, etc.Evaluate and suggest tooling improvements to L1/L2 monitoring setupCreate meaningful reports/KPIs about uptime, ticket trends, product health, etc.Assist with initial security incident triage and suggest best practicesAssist with documentation on architecture, application logic, etc.NO DEVOPS experience needed.Monitors are "as code" now, but they need to tuneAddress the amount of alerts that are getting set offOnce alerts get triggered, they might need to come in a help create some processes to put in place for that.These tools are required Data Dog, Jira, PagerDutyHow these systems integrateStatus page- automation of how the status of the systems are.Being able to scale the solutions for the future3-5 years AWS Cloud- and Services100% AWS and as many AWS services as possibleDocumentation Creation experience- secondary responsibility - All reporting is done manually and the intent is to automate this in the near termEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
