Summary:The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for clerical,technical, administrative and management positions throughout the company. Considerable skill ininterviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basicunderstanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnelpolicy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices are essential.The Talent Acquisition Specialist analyzes the information provided on a prospective employee's applicationform, conducts a personal interview and determines the suitability of the applicant for employment. In caseswhere an applicant is judged unqualified, tactfully turn the applicant away. When the information providedindicates a good potential employee, the Talent Acquisition Specialist performs further background referenceinvestigation (e.g., prior employment references, background check, drug screen, license verification) to gainadequate information on which to base a selection decision. This position takes into consideration previousexperience, education, etc.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and on-boardingDevelopment of recruiting plans, in conjunction with hiring managers.Develops relationships with allied health education providers, and professional associations.Provide consultative support to hiring managers.Responsible for identifying, interviewing, evaluating, and assisting in selection of talent to ensureorganizational goals are achieved.Ensure all applicant / new employee documents are received, complete and accurately entered intoHRIS system.Act as liaison with area employment agencies, prepare and liaison with advertising agencies, andtemporary agencies.Develop and maintain job postings on various recruitment sites (CareerBuilder, Indeed, BullhornReach, LinkedIn, etc.).Coordinate attendance at career fairs, job fairs, professional conferences, educational conferences.Complete weekly, monthly and annual reports on recruitment / employment activity.Notify all departments of employee's hire and start date.Provide all new hire documents to payroll and benefits.Ensure all job postings are posted internally and track internal applicants.Data Entry of HR documents.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assignedMust conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times.Must adhere to the policies, principles, and guidance within the Employee Handbook and Code ofBusiness Conduct.Competency:Excellent Presentation SkillsCommunication Proficiency both verbal and written.Customer / Client Focused.
