The IT Application Administrator (POS and Entertainment Technology) will partner with his / her peers that are responsible for the Micros and Intercard systems on ensuring the technology is meeting the needs of the business. This includes settings standards, building processes, automating as much as possible to reduce manual effort and mistakes, and handling escalated helpdesk cases that need a more technical resource to assist.

The primary focus of this position is to mature our systems management abilities to promote stability and consistency across our growing footprint of locations. A secondary focus will be to provide timely
resolution to escalated support cases to minimize guest and team member impact from technology issues. Other focuses will include building training programs and knowledge base articles for the first level helpdesk, and working with vendors to quickly resolve issues and make system improvements.

The systems supported will evolve over time, and currently include our Point of Sale (Micros RES 3700), and game card system (Intercard).

Build processes and standards around systems management to ensure we handle all locations uniformly
Identify proactive opportunities for reducing support ticket volume
Own the resolution of issues escalated from the first level helpdesk
Liaise with Operations leadership and address their concerns and priorities
Partner with other employees and vendors to implement timely resolution to issues
Document solutions and troubleshooting processes for first level team members to follow
Provide feedback on first level helpdesk performance and assist in training them to improve their level of support

2+ years of experience with restaurant / family entertainment systems in a multi-unit environment
2+ years of experience on an IT helpdesk / service desk
Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Micros RES 3700, specifically around the technology, not just configuration
Intercard experience is NOT required
Ability to write scripts for Windows automation and data collection
Working knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, DNS, routers, switches, and Ethernet
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to be customer oriented in stressful situations while also being motivated and maintaining a sense of urgency
Reliability and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Minimal travel may be required at times.
