We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Overview of job:

The Business Development Advisor will be responsible for supporting the NTT DATA Consulting Services Business Development lifecycle. This position will identify new business opportunities and advance opportunities through the capture process, positioning NTT DATA for consulting services growth across a range of public sector agencies. This role will develop and execute strategies, plans and development of proposals in response to public sector solicitations as assigned by the Vice President. The Business Development Advisor is accountable to successfully execute winning capture and proposal strategies. The successful candidate will have experience developing relationships with state personnel, potential teaming partners and with internal leadership.

Job Responsibilities Include:
• Lead Strategy, Capture and Proposal Development efforts for Consulting Opportunities
• Identify leads and make initial customer contact, and coordinate the scheduling of management reviews to determine the viability of pursuing opportunities
• Qualify, research, track and develop leads into viable business opportunities; develop business case for pursuing opportunities and forecasts potential revenue; participate in opportunity identification: bid decision to final submission
• Make clients aware of NTT DATA Public Sector consulting services and capabilities
• Maintain ongoing relationships with state customers; role may include conducting cold calls
• Lead or support team with competitive intelligence analysis, teaming and solution (technical, management and price)
• Understand risks and critical factors to ensure success in securing or winning business; identify contacts, prime teams and/or teaming partners
• Oversee small and large proposal submission efforts for state solicitations and position NTT Data for competitive bidding; develop win themes, author the proposal sections and identify competitive price to win strategy
• Coordinate capture teams, and participate in pre-proposal review teams (Blue, Pink, Red and Gold Teams); familiarity and ability to participate in the proposal development process
• Participate in corporate presentations, client vendor meetings and team initiatives
• Attend trade shows, conferences, to represent NTT DATA consulting services and expertise
• Support BD Team research, analysis, reporting and marketing activities
• Assigned to support all three SCH Growth Teams; Core, Technical and New Consulting Services

Basic Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree
• Minimum 5 years' experience supporting business and proposal development process to state agencies
• Minimum 3 years' experience supporting delivery of consulting services to state agencies
• Minimum 3 years' Knowledge of specific Health and Human Services programs and systems, such as Medicaid, Eligibility, Child Support, Child Welfare, Mental Health, Public Health and other State Agencies
• 3 years' extensive knowledge of the state procurement process
• Minimum 3 Experience capturing business using various contract vehicles and partnering

Preferred Skills:
• Deep knowledge of state health and human services programs and IT systems
• Must be a team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success
• Must have a proven track record writing and ability to produce successful proposals
• Ability to participate and coach capture and proposal teams during the procurement process
