Catalyst is a multi-year, multi-disciplinary initiative to establish an innovative and simplified global CRM platform for Commercial Banking's front-office. With over 3500 users onboarded across sales, data and business management, the platform is continuously evolving to further streamline and digitize the sales process. Utilizing the power of Salesforce and the agility of our team, Catalyst will elevate operational efficiency, unify teams to solve critical gaps, and empower front-line bankers to deliver the best solutions to their clients.

The Catalyst Senior Business Analyst VP is a key member of the Catalyst organization. In addition to being responsible for business analysis, the BA would work directly with the Product Manager and provide functional subject matter expertise gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology solutions. They work with senior members of the team ensuring the successful delivery of the Catalyst implementation. The Technical Business Analyst will be a key point of contact between the Product Manager and the Technology organization to translate the strategic business objectives into Catalyst program requirements and help in the development of an executable project roadmap. You will ensure that maximum business value is consistently reflected in a well-maintained backlog that reflects prioritization based on the key business drivers of improving operational efficiency to drive revenue and increase customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and designing business functionality based on product strategy, operational needs and other considerations such as technical, infrastructural, regulatory and market needs.
  • Gather requirements from various work streams and perform detailed analysis to produce business and technical requirement epics and stories, including assumptions, inputs, outputs, usability, performance expected from the application or business processes and user acceptance criteria.
  • Define technical and functional requirements, list of interfaces and touch points, conduct solution assessment of various business modules and conduct feasibility analysis for design and build.
  • Work with Scrum Masters, Architects and Developers to transform new requirements into design and implementation.
  • Ensure dependencies on other projects and any cross product / platform and line of business impact is captured clearly.
  • Communicate with various product/application owners to produce impact analysis and assess changes expected across applications.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistency and break down high-level information into details.
  • Develop functional or e2e test run books for business areas / processes or specific requirements.
  • Establish / train and ensure readiness of test, operations and support teams for implementation and production support activities prior to go transition, go-live of new / changed business processes/products, functionality or applications.
  • Manage cross-impacted initiatives both intra Commercial Bank and across Lines of Business

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ year's experience in financial services
  • Candidate must have an experienced track record with Salesforce.com and/or CRM/Sales Enablement
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with multiple work streams, internal and external teams and within rigid timelines, including being able to coach and mentor team members
  • Experience with user centric design, software development lifecycle, business process analysis, software testing and technical writing
  • Experience utilizing and integrating with current sales enabling technology platforms
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem solving, including ability to turn quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication & facilitation skills with crisp and clear verbal communications explaining technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Proficiency in understanding process flows and data modeling/usage
  • Analytical mind, service-minded approach and keen to resolve problems
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
  • Excellent business analysis, test planning, activity planning skills.
  • Ability to tailor communication of the plans (i.e., high level vs detailed level) based on the audience
  • Pro-active self-starter who thrives on independently seeking out information that may not be readily available

Preferred:

  • Hands on with experience with Salesforce.com
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Proven ability to think strategically, synthesize diverse information and identify business opportunities
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
