Program Manager - Integrated Menu Experience

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate, pizza-loving Program Manager to lead Pizza Hut's integrated menu experience. As a Program Manager at Pizza Hut, you are the ultimate owner of the customer experience - partnering closely with product and design teams to define and bring to life an integrated menu shopping experience across our digital channels.

In this role, you'll investigate and uncover ways to make it easier for pizza lovers to shop for their favorite Pizza Hut products. You'll analyze data to turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, accountable for increasing the effectiveness and performance of national marketing windows, market tests, and menu conversion. In addition, you'll participate as a key business stakeholder in developing our new Menu Management system - ensuring our new platform is built to move with our business and our customers.

Ideal program manager brings strong business acumen to articulate a vision to drive Marketing Calendar and Menu objectives, as well as the technical capability and knowledge to navigate experience requirements across multiple systems and teams (CMS, Menu Management, Web, App, etc). It's an exciting role with high visibility to our CEO & CBO and broad exposure to our executive leadership, strategy, and the technology that drives our core business: pizza.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Assists in developing an integrated menu strategy & roadmap by continuously analyzing customer and product data, competition, UX research, and trends to turn insights into actionable initiatives
  • Leads agile discovery process with UX design, product/engineering, digital content & menu management teams to develop customer-centric menu experiences that align customer experience to strategic goals
  • Ensures experiences provide customer value and that value is delivered early and often, in-sync with customer goals and business outcomes (e.g. MVPs, POC, iterative design, etc.)
  • Owns and manages program performance by understanding business and consumer needs to determine and drive key objectives and results; provides regular reporting
  • Makes decisions for program & clearly communicates priorities and trade-offs, ensures buy-in, alignment, and support from key stakeholders, executive leadership & cross-functional teams
  • Champion's customer experience by participating as a key business stakeholder in developing our new Menu Management System & Strategy

Delivery & Execution

  • Develops project plans & oversees delivery process as a primary stakeholder in the marketing innovation process - communicates customer experience needs, manages risks, coordinates demos, and surfaces issues to cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
  • Coordinates UX, menu setup, digital content, and development across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Partners with digital content and menu management teams to set up coupons, deals, & new menu items
  • Participates in stand-ups, grooming/planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives as needed. Fosters team collaboration, co-creation, and open communication.
  • Formulates hypotheses is to A/B test, prototype, or research, continually refining the product until the desired outcome is achieved

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • 2-3 years of program management, product management, or digital strategy experience
  • Bachelor's degree required or relevant experience
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (epics, features, stories,), modern software development practices (test-driven development), and tools (Jira, Confluence).

This new entity is now home to all Pizza Hut U.S. technology talent and capability, spanning eCommerce, Restaurant Technology, Delivery Technology, Data & Analytics Technology.
