Job Description

This role supports the implementation and deployment of Data Conversions and Data Quality for the FLNA deployment of the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT) built through SAP S/4 for Enterprise Asset Management objects. The objective of this role is to work with the Value Stream solution leads and Business Data owners to map (translate legacy data into SAP format), cleanse and enrich the in-scope legacy data to the target SAP format. This role will work closely with the Data Conversion & Readiness delivery team to ensure that requirements are fully understood, review results, and obtain sign-offs from the Business Data owners.

This role will adopt and adhere to PepsiCo Agile Methodology principles for the PepsiCo Global Template deployment projects. The role requires close collaboration with number of teams, both external and internal.

  • Partner with value stream/Sprint team and Business Data team to gather requirements and transform into User Stories.
  • Create Conversion functional designs and Mapping documents along with user stories and work across Conversion team, S/4 technical team on delivery.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to deliver conversion functional design and mapping documents across all data domains.
  • Partner with the Data Quality team to define Business rules (cleansing, pre-load, post-load) associated with Conversion objects to facilitate business data cleansing
  • Test and signoff on conversion and data quality deliverables across the different teams
  • Collaborate on the approval process through design authority and Global PGT Teams
  • Ensure global lift and shift opportunities are deployed across the sectors - Consult / Execute
  • Collaborate with all scrum teams - Consult / Execute
  • Work closely and collaborate with onshore and offshore scrum team members to ensure a prioritized and sufficient product backlog for the teams to work against - Consult / Execute
  • Participate in key Sprint planning, retrospectives and other key ceremonies - Consult / Execute
  • Adopt and adhere to PepsiCo Agile Methodology (PAM) principles and values:
  • Adopt development practices which focus on quality and value, while increasing efficiency, and minimizing waste
  • Foster an environment where communication, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged
  • Help to implement PAM engineering best practices such as continuous integration, automation of testing and delivery, and continuous peer review within teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of experience supporting or deploying SAP ERP (ECC or S/4) implementations
  • Strong analytical skills, as shown by the advanced use of data analysis tools and concepts, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL queries, Reporting Tools (such as Business Objects), ETL Tools (such as Informatica)
  • Ability to understand complex data requirements, and be able to identify and offer multiple solution options to facilitate the best outcome (e.g. automated transformation vs. manual enrichment)
  • Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
  • Excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts, and provide clear documentation to the management and project leadership
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences, deal with ambiguity, and succeed against in a high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge and experience in the Agile Methodology and related tools (such as MS Azure DevOps) desired
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+ , MS Azure DevOps, Quality Center
  • Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
  • Demonstrates the desire and ability to develop new technology skills, business knowledge, and customer service capability through training, experimentation, and self-study
  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers
