Respiratory Care Specialist - PRN (As Needed)
Location: Medical City Plano Hospital

Respiratory Care Specialist Job Summary:
Provides limited respiratory care to patients as ordered by
physicians, according to established standards and practices.
Performs a variety of duties relative to cleaning, disinfecting and
storing respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.
Respiratory Care Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates competency in respiratory care procedures.
- Maintains accurate department records.
- Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled
hours is an essential job function.
Respiratory Care Specialist Job Requirements:
- High School/GED and enrolled for credit in the clinical portion
of an approved Respiratory Care education program.
- 2nd year of Respiratory Care program; initial and semi-annual
verification of student status required thereafter.
- BLS Required.
