Job Description:
Job Overview: The VP IT, Commercial & Beverage Concentrate will
serve as a member of the IT leadership team as well as the
Commercial management team and will have responsibility for setting
the strategic technology direction, driving execution of the
commercial IT project portfolio, and working with their peer teams
to drive best practices that improve service delivery for all
facets of the KDP commercial organizations. The ideal candidate is
a proven information technology leader with personal and
professional skills leading Commercial technology in
Consumer-Packaged Goods with a major focus on Direct Store Delivery
and Warehouse Channel in the Beverage
space.ResponsibilitiesCommercial IT Strategic Vision and
Prioritization of Projects* Lead an execute the strategic
technology plan for the Commercial organization, including
prioritizing program and project plan schedules, initiatives, and
how the organization automates business operations and systems
through innovation.* Deliver systems and applications that can
provide current and accurate operational information and metrics to
analyze business operations and retail program activity against
targeted goals.* Continually work to develop an overall technical
strategy that will lead to programs that improve the customer
experience, operational efficiencies and add shareholder value to
the company.* Direct and lead the review of present IT commercial
systems and methods, and the innovation/development of new and
revised systems and corresponding processes.Partner to Commercial
Business and IT Operations* Continually assess and anticipate the
need for new technology capabilities and solutions across the
company's business based on consumer learnings and the latest
technology trends* Maintain a comprehensive technology operating
model to support the evolving business strategy and ensure
continuous improvement of the underlying technology platforms and
processes.* Work closely with the heads of the business, defining
business and operations requirements for IT infrastructure and
systems based on the long-range needs of the business, and
determine the appropriate levels of application and operations
support.* Seamlessly implement new processes and systems and keep
the systems running efficiently while the initiatives are being
achieved.* Ensure there is an open line of communication across the
IT organization and with business unit leaders to continually
review project plan updates, new equipment and system update
schedules in order to streamline implementation processes and
maximize operational efficiencies.People Management* Motivate,
inspire, and upgrade IT resources across commercial IT where
necessary, and provide leadership to the business to ensure that IT
service delivery is achieved with the highest quality and
security.* Lead change management initiatives to transform the
current IT organization to support the future objectives of the
business, streamline operations and reduce the cost of
infrastructure* Develop plans and processes to move the information
management enterprise from transaction-oriented to strategic
support of the business* Set priorities for the team and clearly
communicate IT objectives so executive initiatives and company-wide
objectives are met.* Responsible for leadership development and
succession planning for the department.Direct Budgets & Capital
Expenditures* Lead the delivery of best-in-class systems and
services. Ensure alignment of the technology strategy with the
company's business goals, revenue, productivity, and increased
enterprise value.* Realign existing operating and capital budgets
to focus on strategic projects that support the business.* Manage
partnerships and work collaboratively with key internal resources
and external vendors to achieve the desired project
resultsRequirements: Pivotal Experience & ExpertiseThe successful
candidate for this position will be an experienced and respected
technology executive with a proven track record of building world
class technology solutions to drive growth and efficiency in a
complex CPG beverage business. They will have strong expertise in
supporting the commercial processes with large retail chain
customers and providing technology solutions to successfully
execute commercial activities across multiple, diverse Routes To
Market. Additionally, they must have extensive experience with a
Direct Store Delivery business. They must understand DSD operations
including case pick warehouse operations, voice and other-directed
picking technologies, dynamic routing operations, and
cashless/paperless delivery technologies. The candidate must also
understand DSD sales including building technology solutions that
enhance the ability and competitive advantage of our field sales
managers to drive daily sell-in opportunities in addition to their
replenishment order processes. The successful candidate must be a
strategic and data-oriented leader, with a successful track record
of customer and consumer value creation, and a strong customer
service mindset.Additional Requirements Include:* B.S. or B.A. or
equivalent work experience required; advanced degree and/or
equivalent work experience is preferred.* 15+ years of executive
responsibility with a proven and successful track record of IT
leadership, execution and delivery of services in an "information
intense" environment that is similar to Keurig Dr Pepper: service
management, retail commercial services, supply chain, IT production
support, enterprise data/reporting and distributed location
support.* Commercial systems depth such as CRM, ERP, and DSD route
accounting. Demonstrated success implementing and/or upgrading
mission critical business systems in support of greater
enterprise-wide data availability and business efficiency.*
Candidate possesses deep subject matter expertise in both the
commercial business development and IT operations.* Exceptional
ability to map out the technology strategy and vision for a complex
commercial CPG business retail and ensure that all projects are
prioritized and implemented in accordance with the organization's
long- term plan.* Ability to work with multiple business
constituencies, balance resources and ensure alignment of
technology strategy with the business vision.* Experience managing,
negotiating, and successfully developing relationships with
outsource partners, service providers and key technology vendors.*
Ideal candidate has worked for a CSD company or bottler and
understands the complexities of beverage concentrate, independent
