Job Description The SAP Security Senior Manager is responsible
for leading the strategy and project portfolio for global
application solutions as a leader on the global SAP Security team.
The primary focus of the position is security matters on PepsiCo’s
SAP technology platform and a portion of additional global
applications interfacing to the SAP environments.
Int his role the duties include but are not limited to project
and personnel management across PepsiCo's global locations while
maintaining a centralized global security design and strategy,
management of project execution, risks, schedule and cost control,
executive communication, budget management, and contingency
The position works closely with the leaders of the Enterprise
Platforms and Common Services within PepsiCo’s IT D&D as well
as supporting IT, business and controls organization partners
across the world.
Project and Personnel Management:
Managing a team of direct and nested reports. Responsible for
managing a portfolio of contractor/third party support services
(including near-shore and offshore resources).
Responsible for coordinating members of different teams to
address and resolve any issues or problems.
Project Manage of all SAP Security initiatives, and liaison for
other projects requiring security support.
Strategy Development and Execution:
Provides multiple project teams security design guidance and
support of all related security workstream activities.
Manages teams for the implementation of security access
controls, including the creation and implementation of security
profiles for named users and processes related security additions,
deletions and changes.
Establish and assist on the strategy for design, deployment and
maintenance of SAP security architecture.
Manages assigned security related issues.
Planning, Execution, and Monitoring:
Support the preparation and review of detailed project plans for
the project and continuous improvement teams.
Function as the primary interface between senior management and
the application security teams / Information Security Group.
Facilitate budget analysis and supporting activities for the
Finance department amongst (often) competing priorities.
Drive to closure; manage to deadlines and move the team
deliverables forward to achieve results, striking the right balance
between consensus and direction, as well as between an inadequately
simple and “perfect” design.
Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor degree in Computer Science,
Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or another related
area of study. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of professional IT experience, specifically
around large scale integration and implementations
5+ years’ experience in SAP Security, SAP GRC and general
security, risk and compliance work streams
Knowledge about SAP authorization concepts and security role
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and
Broad understanding of compliance and governance frameworks
(e.g., SOX, COBIT, etc.); Knowledge of with audit, IT controls,
business controls and segregation of duties (SoD) activities
Experience supervising and managing global teams mixed with
employees and contractors and across multiple time zones
Ability to communicate security risks, design, and methodology
to senior stakeholders required
Ability to conduct system-wide risk assessments
Ability to demonstrate strong customer orientation and excellent
verbal / written communication skills
Ability to train security and IT controls resources and
Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time
