You will be the Material Handler/CDL A Driver for the Material Handling Team. What You Will Be Doing As the Material Handler/CDL A Driver you will be responsible for operating various types of vehicles to deliver and pick up material, maintaining records, and ensuring safe transport. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Loading, unloading, and transporting heavy material throughout the plant and the DFW area. Operating forklifts, flatbeds, tow trucks, burden carriers, and nitrogen converters. Keeping records of service tickets and performing periodic equipment inventories. Using wireless tablets to update and complete move tickets daily. Maintaining a Commercial Driver's License Class A and complying with DOT regulations. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have ability to obtain Secret Clearance. Basic Qualifications - High school degree or equivalent. - 1-3 years of related experience. - Class A CDL required. - Material handling equipment operation and forklift experience. - Must be able to obtain hazmat certification within 120 days, if not already certified. - Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
