Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport refrigerated goods across different routes in the USA. Manage routes and schedules efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and maximum performance. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, as well as state and federal transport laws. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to report any issues or concerns that may arise during the route. Manage freight documentation and ensure accurate handling of invoices, bills of lading, and delivery documentation. Proven ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle with a valid CDL-A license. Strong time management and route planning skills. Excellent navigational and problem-solving skills. Capability to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability. Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with dispatch and clients.
