Sterile Processing Tech Location: Tyler, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,150 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Not specified Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA Must-Have: - Travel experience required - Experience with Epic charting system - Certifications in CBSPD or HSPA Description: The position involves working as a Sterile Processing Technician. The shift is from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, five days a week. A minimum of two years of experience is required. Travel experience is mandatory. Familiarity with Epic charting system is required. Certifications in CBSPD, IAHCSMM, or HSPA are necessary. The daily average surgical case volume is 55. The average daily tray volume is 200. Experience in sterile processing equipment like Steris is preferred. Knowledge of SPD instrument tracking systems is desired. Candidates should be familiar with cleaning and sterilization procedures.
