Genesis10 is currently seeking a Database Administrator with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, and Plano, TXThis is a 12+ month contract position Responsibilities:

• Application and Production Support for IBM Guardium
• Responsible for managing Guardium infrastructure and the deployment and management of the Guardium agent that's deployed to database servers Requirements:
  • Previous experience in providing Production Support for IBM Guardium Data Protection application and infrastructure
  • Able to manages complexity works effectively in a complex environment (e.g., environment spanning multiple functions, shifts, platforms, geographies)
  • Able to communicate to and influence all levels of the organization
  • Ability to produce quality documentation (understand difference between standard, best practice, design and process documents)
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to complete complex processes with multiple interdependent steps Desired Skills:
    • Demonstrates business acumen
    • Ability to quickly assess situations and make decisions that will benefit the organization and stabilize the infrastructure behind it
    • Able to work in a competitive and demanding environment with creativity and problem-solving skills
    • Previous experience working within a Financial Institution
