Senior Principal Technical ConsultantWe are an innovative,
analytics driven Customer Support organization committed to
delivering high customer value through proactive, collaborative
initiatives. The Senior Principal Technical Consultant will be a
critical part of our Customer Support organization and is a senior
role responsible for helping establish, drive, and track cross
functional operational initiatives across our field and R&D
organizations.We're looking for a Senior Principal Technical
Consultant who is willing to jump in and take on a mix of programs
ranging from strategic product initiatives to business operations
programs.You should have a passion for working together with
cross-functional teams, leveraging data analytics to uncover issues
and opportunities, creatively solving business challenges, and
managing a wide array of initiatives projects.
- Key Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams on enterprise-wide
initiatives to drive alignment
- Drive strategic Initiatives & business operations program
planning and execution
- Monitor, track, and report on (internal) continuous improvement
initiatives as well as (external) customer outreach and
campaigns
- Define program workstreams, setting program milestones and
defining deliverables
- Guide stakeholders to produce agreed upon deliverables in a
high quality and timely manner
- Ensure programs make continued progress towards delivering
defined outcomes
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with programs
and work closely with cross functional teams to drive decisions and
resolve escalations
- Identify and manage program interdependencies: internal,
external, technical, or functional
- Effectively communicate with executive, stakeholders, and cross
functional teams
- Engage with executives in order to provide status updates and
receive program feedback
- Facilitate discussions to identify, analyze and resolve issues
and drive required actions
- Collaborate on the development of communication and
presentation materials
- Partner with the support leadership team on ad hoc project
requests
- Deep understanding of the product development process, the
product lifecycle, and program management
- Key Skills and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is
necessary.
- At least 12 years of experience in the software industry, with
at least 5 years in project or program management managing highly
visible, large-scale, strategic initiatives
- Software industry experience and previous experience working
with product and development teams is plus
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or CSM
Certification preferred
- Seasoned professional with well-developed problem-solving
skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong track record influencing stakeholders and program
participants
- Operates with a high degree accountability
- Possesses excellent listening and verbal and written
communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task across multiple priorities and
initiatives
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- Self starter, passionate, enthusiastic, high energy
- Quick learner, creative, strategic thinker
- Advanced knowledge of individual product development stages is
desirable
- Prior leadership experience in product planning, management,
and project management.
- Excellent communication skills for a smooth collaboration with
engineers and other teams.
- Experience recording and evaluating product/proccess
performance metrics is crucial, along with the ability to report
them to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and
align teams based on those tasks
- Knowledge of a Broadcom product or product line preferred
- Six Sigma green belt (or above) is preferred
- A sound understanding of, or proficiency in, a programming
language is a plus
- Business Travel and Physical Demands
- Business travel of approximately 10 or less percent yearly is
expected for this position.

Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range
for this position is $111,000- $185,000.This position is also
eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with
relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan
documents and equity award agreements. Broadcom offers a
