Job Description:

Genesis10 is seeking 3 Sr. Mainframe Programmers for our client in the financial services -industry. This 9 month+ contract position is located in Plano, TX. This requires a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Description:
Will be working on a Mainframe modernization project.

Requirements:

• 
  
• Proficient in Mainframe - COBOL application development; CICS application programming; Mainframe Z/OS Connect & JCL; Strong exposure to VSAM.
  
• Proficient in EasyTrieve/Eztrieve, File Manager, MQueue and/or z/OS Connect tools
  
• Programming experience with the APB (batch), APC (online), APA (batch and online) and RPI (reporting) modules
  
• Experience with the Systematics Database Management System working with major files (DSTs), DAGs and elements.
  
• Hands on experience with Advanced Loan Systems with GN architecture
  
• SDLC Agile methodology; NEXUS; Quality Center; JIRA; Maximo; Sharepoint
  
• Verbal and written communication skills, team-player strong capability and effectiveness working on teams, with senior team members and consulting partners; deliver design documentation -
  
  Desired Skills:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Experience with CA-7 job scheduler and version control tools like Endevor and ChangeMan
    Prior experience in Mainframe modernization
    Exposure to tools like IDz & Topaz
    Exposure to Mainframe DevOps
    
    W2 Status:
