Position Overview: Alkami is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our growing team. Our ideal Senior Mobile Engineers will have worked in a team based environment using the Scrum development methodology to provide first class mobile applications for Android or iOS devices. They will also have some experience assisting in mentoring junior mobile engineers. Our Senior Mobile Engineers gather and analyze requirements, make architectural and design recommendations, code, document, and test their contributions in a high - energy, team oriented environment. Senior Mobile Engineers are expected to contribute significantly to the formulation and design of the solution, not just the coding implementation. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Work with UX and product stakeholders to deliver polished mobile experiences Coordinate closely with quality assurance testers to ensure proper app functionality Organize and create UI modules, working closely with our UX team Support the continuous integration pipeline (currently leveraging Jenkins, Fastlane scripts, and rake scripts) Continually seek new opportunities to optimize our mobile experience (e.g., networking, asset loading, app file size, rendering, caching) Work cohesively with other developers on the team and across the engineering department Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends Innovate on the next generation of Alkami's mobile offerings Maintain existing codebase and resolve client commitments Go-to person for most complex problems in areas you may not have directly worked in Ability to proactively identify and solve high level problems Lead, teach and grow their team's technical, communication and problem solving skills Ability to consistently produce a high level of quality output Ensure best practices are implemented by your team Understand common architectural patterns, drives the design of a solution and ensure the team implements it correctly Other assigned duties. Qualifications: 4+ years of iOS development experience 4+ years general development experience Desired Skills: Experience leading a team Comprehensive background in iOSdevelopment An understanding of OOP principles, design, and ability to recommend an overall architecture for a solution Experience using package managers like Cocoapods Understanding of mobile architecture and app development practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by verbal and written communication skills Experience with Git to store and share source code Cool Things to Know: Not Just Any Company: Alkami has an awesome diverse and inclusive environment.
