seeking a F-22 Mid-Level Real Time Software Engineer to join the
F-22 Missions Systems team located in Berkeley, MO or Richardson,
TX. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense,
Space & Security (BDS) business organization.This organization
designs, develops, and demonstrates avionics solutions for the F-22
Raptor, the premier 5th gen air superiority fighter flown only by
the United States Air Force (USAF). Your role will require you to
work as a member of a cross-functional agile team to integrate
cutting-edge technologies to maintain the Raptor's dominance over
the battlefield for many decades to come.Position
Responsibilities:Develops, documents and maintains architectures,
requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software
systemsDevelops and maintains code and integrates software
components into a fully functional software systemDevelops software
verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executes
test procedures and documents test results to ensure software
system requirements are metProvides technical leadership for
software projectsSupports generation and maintenance of software
processes, tools and metricsExecutes and documents software
research and development projectsServes as a subject matter expert
for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and
regulationsTracks and evaluates software team to ensure product and
process conformance to project plans and industry standardsExecute,
and provide triage information for each release of the MSW
productsSupport the CI/CD testing effortsWorks under general
directionThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed
location options. Security Clearance and Export Control
Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US
Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US
Citizenship. The ability to obtain Secret Clearance (Interim
Pre-Start with full Post-Start) with the ability to obtain program
clearance.Please include any active security clearance information
on your resume.Required Qualifications (Required Skills/
Experience): Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance
(Pre-Start)Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of
study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer
Science, or other technical degreeExperience programming in C++,
Ada, C, C#, Java or PythonStrong coordination and communication
skillsAbility to work in a multi-tasking environment while
supporting multiple concurrent activitiesAbility to work
effectively in a collaborative team environmentExperience with
developing embedded real-time softwareAbility to obtain special
program accessPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience programming in C++ or AdaExperience developing software
for a United States Air Force customerExperience with developing
embedded real-time software for operational flight programs
(OFPs)Experience with Agile software developmentTypical
Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired
through advanced technical education from an accredited course of
study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related
work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education
and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+2 years' related work
experience)In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standardTravel:This position
has occasional travel to some partner and supplier sites around the
United States but would be less than 10%.Relocation:This position
offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation
