Position SummaryResponsible for managing the MQL messaging team, including the MQL internal messaging test requirements, test execution, test reporting and project management rolesRole and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing the MQL messaging team, including the MQL internal messaging test requirements, test execution, test reporting and project management roles. Conduct performance management and evaluation of all direct reports including career guidance and development. Understand requirements and core functions/features of the messaging feature from each carrier and from competitors. Review new functions and features, and correctly translate them into test designs. Set-up and proof test cases. Design and implement test strategies, test plans, functional and performance test cases, policies, and infrastructures. Set-up test plans to meet deadlines based on request by project leads. Determine the risk based on issues discovered during testing. Analyze and manage issues detected by QA engineers to professionally present issue reports. Test new features to ensure that features and performances are correct and test results are accurate. Create reports based on the issues detected during testing and able to follow up with issues until it gets fully resolved by R Coordinate with various stakeholders, including SQE, R, Network Engineers, and carriers to ensure all IMS-related features are fully tested and functional based on the features supported. Identify the required documentation and processes for the project. Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications. Manage translation of complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design. Responsible for the managing over-all systems architecture, reliability, and performance in the field of engineers. Managing test requirements through scheduling external out-sourcing to perform required testing. Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels. Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plan; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-server-standards; resolving problems, completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.Skills and QualificationsRequirements: Master's degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation in mobile QA engineering in the wireless industry. Will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation in mobile QA engineering in the wireless industry, or any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience must include: 1) Six years of experience in the mobile automation test industry. 2) Six years of experience in QA life cycle, test plans, test executing and reporting. 3) Six years of experience in wireless technologies, including GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, LTE/5G, and Radio Interface. 4) Six years of experience in RF network engineering. 5) Three years of experience with 5G technologies, including mm Wave/Sub6 and Beamforming. 6) Five years of experience in LTE features, including voice over LTE (VoLTE), video over LTE (ViLTE), voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi), Rich Communication Services (RCS) messages, and Over-The-Air (OTA) Activation. 7) Six years of experience in utilizing log capturing and processing tools, including QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, WindCatcher, Actix, XCAP-M, and OTA signaling messages. 8) Five years of experience in advanced LTE features, including QAM, LAA, Carrier Aggregation, multiple input multiple output (MIMO), and Beamforming. 9) Five years of experience in IMS Session Initiated Protocol (SIP), VoLTE, and IR94 call processing. 10) Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including communication skills (both oral and written), and organizational /documentation skills. 11) Six years of experience in carrier-specific test cases and testing methods. 12) Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven record of efficiency and success. 13) Five years of experience managing high-profile programs and project activities to completion. 14) Five years of experience preparing launch "go/no go" checklists and creating contingency plans. 15) Five years of experience providing project updates to management, including progress, risks, issues, and mitigation recommendations.This position qualifies for an employee referral bonus.
