The actual days onsite are determined between each employee and the employees manager.The candidate selected for this position is going to get to work with the Omni Channel Engagement Architecture team in USAAs Chief Technology Office. They will own the business process management and robotic automation domains at USAA. They will manage, set, and govern the technologies within these domains aligning to the business capabilities needs.Sets technology strategy, direction and provides architecturally compliant solutions for a business function and/or technical domain(s). Seek out mentoring opportunities specifically to create team redundancy and backfill ability.Executes architecture practices and processes by properly creating and maintaining architecture domain documentation, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and suggesting enhancements.Establishes external relationships with contacts on industry organizations and government boards and vendors in the marketplace related to a business function or technology domain. Establishes a plan to gain external eminence by pursuing professional and industry technical certifications, presenting at conferences, publishing technical papers, contributing to open source, authoring patents, etc.Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Minimum Experience:10 years of experience in the Information Technology field to include at least 2 years in a technical leadership role within IT.Experience in technology application development and/or infrastructure and operational implementation.Deep knowledge in a minimum of one technology domain (from an application, infrastructure, operations, scalability, availability, performance, people, process, and tooling perspective).Demonstrated experience in explaining complex technology decisions to both technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels in the organization.Demonstrated experience effectively communicating and developing high trust relationships with frontline and second level management and stakeholders.Understanding and application of technical architecture standards, principles, and policies and knowledge of applicable regulations and risk management practices.When you apply for this position, you will be required to answer some initial questions. Once you begin the questions you will not be able to finish them at a later time and you will not be able to change your responses.Preferred Experience:Extensive Experience with Intelligence Automation Platforms such as Automation Anywhere and UIPath.Working knowledge of BPM Platforms such as Appian.Experience implementing multiple low code/no code BPM Platforms.Experience integration workflow platforms with BPM platforms.Experience in IT Architecture governance processes and controls.Extensive experience working with key stakeholders developing, managing and governing technical and business strategies.Demonstrated ability to identify gaps in non-functional requirements, prioritize based on risk level, and articulate and advocate for closing the gap.Highly adaptable to lead the architecture roadmap across many engineering teams with varying priorities and assignments.Conducts evaluations and recommends either solutions available in the industry or the approach to build a solution to deliver the desired business capabilities.Strong Interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking/problem solving skills.The above description reflects the details considered vital to describe the principal functions of the job and should not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be performed in the job.Compensation:USAA has an effective method for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this skill is: $135,200 to $243,500 (this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location).Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.Shift premium: will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.Benefits:At USAA our employees enjoy best-in-class benefits to support their physical, financial, and emotional wellness.
