Job Description:

Genesis10 is currently seeking a .Net Developer with our client in the financial industry in their Plano, TX location. This is a 6 month + contract to hire position.Responsibilities:

• Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions
• These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
• Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies
• May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource
• Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations
• May have responsibility for a project and project budget
• May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities
• Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned tech leads
• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience
• This position is responsible for providing .Net Developer level analysis, design and hands-on development skills. Demonstrated record of developing successful applications that are highly integrated and reliable
• As a self-starter, candidates should have the ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Candidates should have strong computer science background, critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skill along with a willingness to be highly collaborative in coming up with solutions Requirements:
  • 1-5 years Full Stack developer with hands-on knowledge of .Net framework, C#, ASP.net, .Net Core, Web API, Visual Studio
  • Web services development with WCF and/or SOAP/REST frameworks using multiple protocols; experience with consumption as well as creation
  • Experience in data access technologies and patterns
  • Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in using SQL
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp) Desired Skills:
    • Javascript frameworks such as JQuery, Angular, ReactJS, MVC, Bootstrap, experience with Angular is a definite plus
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server using T-SQL and/or Oracle database using PL/SQ
    • SQL Server Reporting Services
    • Experience with component based web application frameworks
    • Database modeling and/or stored procedure/trigger experience
    • Knowledge of Mulesoft, Salesforce, Java, Pega, Hadoop, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Sonar, JIRA is a plus
    • Experience in WinForm and or WFP MVVM application development
    • Multithreaded programing skill
    • Create and execute unit, integration and regression test plans/scripts
    • Experience with financial applications
    • Demonstrated experience designing, developing and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications in waterfall and/or Agile methodologies If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
