Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Java Hadoop / Bigdata Developer
Required Qualifications---- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.--- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.--- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.--- U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Infosys is unable to sponsor at this time.--- Experience in Core Java--- Experience in Hadoop/Big Data.
Preferred Qualifications--- At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.--- At least 2 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies and experience in frameworks like Spring, Hibernate--- At least 2 years of experience in Hadoop/Big Data technologies and experience in Sqoop, Hive, HDFS, Shell Scripting--- Experience and good knowledge of ETL Technologies like Data Stage/Informatica/Talend--- Good experience in Data migration, RDBMS to Hadoop Migration projects--- Knowledge of Spark and Kafka--- Willing to work in application/production support--- Experience in Banking domain will be an added advantage--- Strong communication and Analytical skills--- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment--- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
