Sr. Human Resources Leader
About UsBeal Bank is a $12B+ privately-held financial institution
based in Plano, TX, actively seeking to hire a hands-on recruiter,
manager, and potential future senior leader for our current lean
and hyper-efficient HR team.
The key responsibilities of the Sr. Human Resources Leader are
setting the approved HR strategy and overseeing all aspects of the
HR service delivery model for all Beal entities. The position may
include other duties as directed by the Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:---Works with management to
develop appropriate strategies for internal clients regarding
employee relations, disciplinary action, operations and performance
issues.---Oversees benefit planning, development, expense
management and programming to be competitive in order to recruit
and retain employees.---Manages the benefit and broker renewals and
strategic discussions.---Establishes overall talent management
recruiting practices/strategies and procedures.---Directs and
recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a
positive employee posture within the organization.---Leads the HR
team by focusing on the effective and accurate processing and
delivery of all HR products and services and sets the standards for
performance and accountability.---Identifies legal requirements
affecting HR function, including the communication of local, state
and federal laws to field locations in order to be in
compliance.---Acts as primary contact with external labor counsel
on all HR matters.---Builds/maintains strong relationships with
business owners to provide quality service to the Corporate office
and remote location staff.---Continually benchmarks the
competitiveness of all programs and practices against peer
companies.---Oversees implementation of programs through HR
staff.---401K Committee member and responsible for leading and
organizing the committee meetings.---Updates senior management as
needed on appropriate topics.---Responsible for overall capital and
expense budgeting for HR and operates within the HR
budget.---Provides professional HR consultation to executive-level
colleagues.---Defines recruitment and selection processes for all
level positions including targeting passive candidates that meet
customer and organizational needs.---Manages university campus
recruiting efforts.---Works with management to ensure understanding
of current and future workforce needs while implementing
improvements to the staffing processes including sourcing,
screening and selection.---Develops strong coaching relationships
with managers.---Ensures the hiring process meets all legal and
regulatory standards.---Evaluates and communicates trends in
recruitment and the job market.---This is an on-site (non-remote)
position based at our Plano, TX headquarters location
Qualifications:---5-10 years of progressive experience in multiple
Human Resource disciplines with at least 7 plus years' experience
as the corporate HR leader.---Financial services industry
experience strongly preferred.---Bachelor's degree in HR or related
field, Master's Degree preferred.---SPHR certification strongly
preferred.---Ability to source and recruit talent in competitive
labor markets, including ability to proactively headhunt
candidates.---Clear understanding of commonly outsourced HR
functions and an ability to source, select, engage and manage such
functions if needed.---Familiarity with major HRIS platforms and
technologies.---Organized, detail oriented, resourceful and
self-sufficient.---Strong customer service skills, problem solving
skills, managerial courage, political savvy, strategic agility and
interpersonal skills are required position competencies.---Proven
ability to partner with senior executives on both strategic and
tactical levels.
