Job Description:
Job Description Recruiting and HR Rock Star About Us Beal Bank
is a $12B privately-held financial institution based in Plano, TX,
actively seeking to hire an experienced recruiter, hands-on
manager, and potential future senior leader for our current lean
and hyper-efficient HR team. We are an opportunistic and dynamic
institution that needs some HR-related horsepower to match Our
institution believes that opportunity and responsibility are there
for the taking; the question often becomes who has the smarts,
ambition, and drive to take them? As a business, we feel that we
have those qualities, and we want to continue building a team that
reflects those qualities as well. We pride ourselves on having a
long-tenured core team that is expert in analyzing and assessing
risk and making responsible decisions that protect our customers,
our employees, and the institution itself, while maintaining an
agile and entrepreneurial approach that is more akin to a startup
rather than a stodgy, boring bank. Our tendency to run a lean and
dynamic organization demands that our management and leadership
team be agile, hands-on, and willing to take on many roles and
responsibilities. Our HR function is no different, and we---re
seeking these same qualities in someone for the current role
described below. About the Position We---re looking for someone who
can, first and foremost, lead our talent acquisition and recruiting
efforts , but also potentially lead and work side-by-side with our
existing, effective 3-person internal HR team. This position is one
that we---d love to see grow as we grow ourselves and is a perfect
opportunity for someone who has firmly planted themselves in the HR
field but that has yet to have had the opportunity to really extend
their branches and roots with more responsibility --- this is that
opportunity for the right candidate. As a flat organization,
you---ll not only be reporting directly to the COO but regularly
interact with the entire C-level team. As a result, you---ll likely
have more opportunities for hands-on experience and growth in the
next 2 to 5 years here than in a decade or more stuck in a huge
organization where politics matter more than performance. We are
looking for someone whose primary motivation is a sense of
fulfillment from a job well done and making real contributions to
the team and the organization as a whole, not their title or the
size of their office. For this reason, the exact title of this
position is TBD based on the candidate we ultimately select,
determined, in part, by their experience and what they bring to the
table. The successful candidate will be high-energy, up-beat, and
undaunted by bureaucracy. They should possess broad and practical
knowledge of multiple areas of HR, such as general labor laws and
regulations, benefits administration, employee relations, conflict
resolution, career coaching, and counseling. You don---t have to be
an expert in anything specifically (yet), but you need to know what
you know, and more importantly, know what you don---t know. That
said, we have a strong preference and need for someone particularly
skilled and experienced in recruiting and talent acquisition,
especially for higher-level roles within a knowledge-based worker
enterprise. Local DFW candidates strongly preferred. This is an
on-site (non-remote) position based at our Plano, TX headquarters
location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Daily management
and oversight of all areas of typical HR deliverables such as
employee communications and relations, on-boarding/off-boarding,
employee development, employee retention, etc.; Collaboratively
oversee and manage the HR team; leading by example in a manner that

legal requirements, best practices, and prevailing trends across
all areas relating to the HR function; Ensure the hiring and
termination processes are compliant with all laws and regulations;

senior colleagues on all things HR; 401K committee member and
responsible for leading and organizing the committee meetings;
