Job Description Medical Assistant – Dermatology (Full-Time)
Location: Prosper / North Dallas Region Practice Type: Medical &
Surgical Dermatology We are a patient focused medical and surgical
dermatology office dedicated to providing high quality care in a
professional and welcoming way. We are seeking a full time
dependable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our group. If
you enjoy working closely with providers and patients; supporting
physician-directed medical dermatologic care and assisting in minor
ambulatory procedures, this position is for you. Some key duties
and responsibilities include: ? Room patients and obtain vitals,
medical history, medications, and allergies ? Prepare patients for
exams and procedures ? Assist providers during dermatologic
procedures including but not limited to: ? Biopsies ? Excisions ?
Suturing ? Injections ? Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen (LN2) ?
Set up and break down procedure rooms ? Clean and disinfect rooms
between patients ? Process and label pathology specimens ? Maintain
accurate specimen logs ? Ensure specimens are picked up daily ?
Sterilize and maintain any surgical instruments ? Maintain a clean
and clear workspace Required: ? High School diploma ? CMA/RMA
certification ? Strong communication and organizational skills ?
Friendly, professional demeanor ? Ability to multitask in a fast
paced environment ? Work effectively with patients, families, and
team members ? EHR Experience Preferred: ? Dermatology or surgical
specialty experience ? Experience assisting with procedures or
minor surgery Schedule: ? Full-time, Monday–Friday ? No nights,
