Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff Perform duties, such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients, or change linens Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses Strong interpersonal and communication skills Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting of patients Basic understanding of patient care and safety techniques Attention to detail and ability to multitask Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current CNA certification in Texas BLS certified preferred
