Progressive Care Unit Our Progressive Care Unit is a fast-paced
environment that includes high acuity patients. Are you looking to
increase your knowledge base? Our Progressive Care Unit leadership
team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and
building every team member. Progressive Care Unit Patient
Population: Trauma, High flow and ARVO Oxygenation systems,
Vasoactive Drips, Chest pain, Stroke, Sepsis, Covid Patient Ratios:
1:3 or 1:4 Number of Beds: 32 beds Shift: Seasonal Days
6:45pm-7:15am (13 weeks, the 1st week is a full week of
orientation) Requirements: 3 years of Med/Surg/Tele/Cardiac
experience; Traveler experience required Department Specifics: 77%
BSN, Multidisciplinary Rounding (with Physicians, Case Management,
PT/OT, etc.) for best patient outcomes and quickest recovery.

RN, you align with our nursing model, manage patient care,
evaluate, recognize, create, implement care plans. Monitor patient
progress is also vital. Your knowledge will help patients navigate
the healthcare system safely, reducing complications. You will use
your expertise to understand patient needs and the healthcare
environment. Essential Functions of the Role - Using good judgment
and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following
practice standards. - Identify patient and family needs, then
develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly.
Make adjustments as needed. - Creating safe, therapeutic
environments for patients, families, and staff. - Managing
emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent
unnecessary suffering. Key Success Factors - Comprehensive
knowledge of standards and procedures in nursing and patient care.
- Effective communication skills to articulate thoughts clearly and
interact with diverse groups of people. - Proficient
problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to provide
quality patient care. - Flexibility and excellent communication for
sharing changes in patient health conditions promptly and

a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work
experience - A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the field of
nursing - A valid Registered Nurse license - The ability to obtain
a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of
employment. - Requirements: 3 years of Med/Surg/Tele/Cardiac
experience; Traveler experience required
