Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in pediatric and adult home care,
is seeking a compassionate and diligent Licensed Vocational Nurse
(LVN) to join our team for day shifts. In this role, you will
provide direct nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own
homes. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our patients
achieve their highest levels of wellness and independence. This
position is ideal for someone passionate about patient care and
committed to healthcare excellence. Administer medications, perform
daily patient assessments, and monitor vital signs as ordered by a
physician. Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as wound
care and the insertion of catheters. Educate patients and their
families on proper home health care strategies and procedures.
Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement,
and evaluate patient care plans. Comply with all safety and health
regulations regarding patient care and data handling. Strong
clinical skills in a home care setting Excellent communication and
documentation skills Ability to operate standard medical equipment
Time management and organizational skills Empathy and the ability
to provide comfort and care to patients of all ages Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current
LVN license valid in the state of employment Basic Life Support
(BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or American Red
Cross Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
