Voice Project® A Unique Opportunity Click below to learn more about
Parkinson Voice Project. Effective Parkinson’s Speech Therapy
Imagine being a part of a speech therapy clinic that has developed
an evidence-based, life-altering program for individuals diagnosed
with Parkinson’s and related disorders. Imagine being a part of a
speech therapy clinic that doesn’t charge for its services, doesn’t
have a billing office, and is not concerned with insurance or
Medicare coverage. Imagine being able to provide patients with as
much speech therapy as needed to regain and retain their speech and
swallowing abilities. Imagine working for an organization that
genuinely cares about its employees and their well-being and
promotes a four-day workweek while offering competitive salaries,
bonuses, and generous benefits. Parkinson Voice Project is seeking
a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at its headquarters
in Richardson, Texas to evaluate and treat individuals diagnosed
with Parkinson’s and related disorders. The ideal candidate will be
a Texas-licensed, ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with
at least 5 years of clinical experience and an understanding of
motor learning principles. Caring for individuals living with a
chronic, degenerative condition is more than just a job… it’s a
calling… and our new SLP will be sensitive to this reality and will
reflect empathy throughout each patient’s journey. Our future SLP
will genuinely care about every patient's well-being and will
demonstrate through deliberate, thoughtful actions that Parkinson
Voice Project is with our patients for the long haul. This SLP will
go the extra mile to help our patients, whether it’s by providing
referrals, hopping on a Zoom call to educate their family, checking
in on them with a simple phone call, or answering questions about
swallowing disorders and cognitive challenges. Our future SLP will
be passionate and genuinely humbled by the opportunity to play a
key role in Parkinson Voice Project’s vision of making quality
speech treatment accessible to people with Parkinson’s worldwide.
If you want to be part of a genuine, efficient, and high-performing
team while profoundly impacting the lives of people with
Parkinson’s and their families, please apply. Parkinson Voice
Project offers a competitive salary with bonuses, healthcare
benefits, and a 401k plan with a 5% match. This benefit-eligible
position is scheduled for 32 hours per week, typically Monday
through Thursday, with optional Friday hours available. To apply,
please send your resume with a cover letter to Brittany Scott, Lead
Speech-Language Pathologist, at bscott@ParkinsonVoiceProject.org.
Applications submitted to LinkedIn will not be reviewed. Visit
