a qualified Oncology RN in Dallas, Texas, 75235! Job Title:

Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current oncology experience
License: Active Texas or Compact license Certifications: Current
American Heart Association BLS certification, ONS chemotherapy
biotherapy provider certificate Must-Have: - EPIC Beacon and
Chemotherapy Infusion experience - Disclosure of any previous
employment history Description: The Registered Nurse is a licensed
professional who coordinates patient care delivery. The RN focuses
on specific patient populations and health conditions in
collaboration with the health care team. Using the nursing process,
the RN assesses patients and identifies nursing diagnoses based on
health issues. The RN develops and implements individualized care
plans and evaluates patient responses. The RN assists patients in
transitioning through healthcare encounters to avoid complications
or delays. The RN delegates interventions based on the Nursing
Practice Act and the competencies of healthcare personnel. The RN
serves as a patient advocate by emphasizing patient needs, rights,
and confidentiality. The RN provides educational information and
training to patients and families. They may serve as a resource for
specific clinical patient care issues. The RN performs appropriate
patient assessments related to admission and discharge criteria.
They administer medications safely and follow infection control
practices. The RN completes patient assessments related to cancer
care and documents their findings accurately and timely. The RN
educates patients, families, and significant others about cancer
care and treatment side effects. They may serve as a preceptor or
trainer to newer nursing staff members. The RN may also act as a
Charge Nurse on rotation as necessary. They serve as a role model
