Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Trauma ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Burn Trauma ICU RN – Texas Start Date: January 5, 2026 Location: Plano, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day or Night shift available; 2:1 ICU patient ratio; 4:1 PCU patient ratio; 2 weekends per pay period required Highlights: 30-bed combined Burn and Trauma ICU with PCU capability Advanced critical care equipment and specialized burn/trauma technology Experience with complex procedures including wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP Meditech EMR system Collaborative team environment with 85 clinical staff members Float opportunities across multiple critical care units including MSICU, CVICU, and Neuro ICU Requirements: Active RN license Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU experience required Strong communication and critical thinking skills BSN preferred CCRN certification preferred Ability to work 2 weekends per pay period Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity specialty unit caring for burn and trauma patients while developing advanced critical care skills.
