Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work in Emergency Department providing care for diverse patient acuity levels • 4 weekend shifts required per month • Self-scheduling available • Variable patient ratios depending on acuity and volume • Easy going, flexible personality with positive attitude and patient-first philosophy preferred • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC • SAMA, CPI or equivalent required (30-day grace period provided if needed) • ENPC certification preferred • Texas RN licensure or compact license eligible required • Work with standard emergency/trauma equipment and EMR - Meditech • Handle procedures related to certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma, and accredited burn cases • Royal blue scrubs required (branded preferable) • No floating required, however may cross-train for sister facility • Work alongside RN, advanced paramedic, EMT, and unit secretary staff Facility: This is a full-service, 513-bed acute care hospital that has provided advanced healthcare since 1975.
