Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Plano, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,747 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN NICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in NICU License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Level II-III NICU experience Description: We are seeking a Travel RN for the NICU. The unit consists of 41 beds with a staff of 60 members. Staffing includes a charge nurse and multiple registered nurses on both day and night shifts. Patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:4. Common equipment utilized in the unit includes high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, central lines, conventional ventilation, CPAP, NIPPV, and ostomy care. Electronic medical records are managed through CPN and Meditech systems. Candidates must have experience in Level II-III NICU care, with Level III-IV experience preferred. Typical procedures performed include surgeries (excluding heads and hearts), respiratory support, and care for micro-preemies. The ideal candidate will be teamwork-oriented. The position requires four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule. There is no on-call requirement for this role. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS PALS - AHA
