ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Care for PCU/MS level patients with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio • Manage standard drips excluding insulin and vasopressors • Weekend requirement of 2 weekend shifts per 2-week period • Minimal floating requirements with close to zero chance of floating • Work with progressive care unit patient population requiring intermediate level monitoring • Experience with standard medical-surgical drips required • Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients transitioning between intensive care and general medical floors Facility: This healthcare facility operates a progressive care unit that serves as an intermediate level of care between intensive care and general medical-surgical units.
