Job Description Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN GI Lab Lead for a local contract nursing job in Waxahachie, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: GI Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/18/2025 - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract RN GI Lab Team Lead Job Title: Procedural RN (Team Lead) Department: GI Procedural Lab Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Unit Specifics: 2 GI Labs, 7 pre/post rooms and Expansion will add 3-4 GI rooms. We do advanced endoscopy (EUS/ERCP) as well as pulmonology procedures (bronchoscopy-Robotic ION procedures-EBUS) and manometry procedures GI, OR, or Procedural Experience required. Run daily operations of the dept. – Minimal call (if any) – Potential growth opportunities with the new Endoscopy Suite expansion that is underway. Job Summary As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills. Essential Functions of the Role As a Procedural Registered Nurse, use careful clinical judgment. Assess patients and prioritize their needs. Create and adjust care plans for better results. You will assess your nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness. This may involve tracking indicators, making changes based on research, and joining quality improvement initiatives. You'll help teach patients and staff. Education will be integrated into care at all levels. In systems thinking, you will use strategies and resources to solve problems for patients, families, and staff. Finally, your professionalism enhances nursing practice and work environment. Contribute to decision-making, recognize others' contributions meaningfully. Qualifications Accredited program or (2) two years minimum, required for this position. A major focus or specialization in Nursing.
