Aveanna Healthcare Job OpportunityWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Plano, Texas. As a member of our pediatric therapy team, you will provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, coordinating, and administering occupational therapy services to our patients. This includes providing a written evaluation defining occupational therapy needs, goals, and expected outcomes, as well as participating in coordination of services with the healthcare team.Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services as prescribed by the physician
• Follow policies and procedures and conform to all applicable patient care standards, licensure regulations, and state laws
• Participate in coordination of services, including discharge planning, with the healthcare team, physicians, parent/guardians, nurses, and other appropriate individuals
• Administer care to ensure safety for the patient
• Update self on the patient's clinical condition
• Maintain effective communication between staff, healthcare team members, and familyRequirements
  • Occupational Therapy Master's Degree from an accredited university/program
  • Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current and unrestricted license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and proceduresPreferred Qualifications
    • One (1) year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
